Hi,
I'm Sean from Portland, Oregon. I own a small stainless fab business and recently purchased a 55' Chevy 6400 flat bed to haul loads of sheetmetal. It has been kept in a barn for 19 years and is in good, mostly rust free condition which is amazing for Oregon. Even the bed wood is in really good condition. However, It has not run in 20 or so years and the brakes are stuck. I believe it has a 261, with a Muncie manual transmission and a 2 speed rear end. You can see some pictures here: http://s311.photobucket.com/albums/kk474/seangardner38/?albumview=slideshow
Thanks

Hello, I've read the forums for a while and have now become a stovebolt owner, a 1964 GMC 4000 which I will be picking up Saturday! I'm kind of dreading the 400 mile drive home in a 44 year old truck, but am confident it will do fine, just not very comfortable. It is a fire tanker just taken out of service in Indiana. Eventually it will have a contractor flat dump bed or a stakebed. I'll post pictures in the gallery once I get it home and settled in. Scott
