For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 128 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 128 | I have a rebuilt 302 GMC straight 6, that is stock. Instead of installing fentons, I want to fabricate tubular headers into duel exhaust. I manage a tube bending/fab shop, so why by when i can make? Since there are 4 exhaust ports on the head, two are smaller diameter, two are larger, what size tubing should I plan to use to accomodate this? I plan on using 2" OD stainless tubes for the exhaust and want it to breath nice. Any suggestions, photo's etc would be very helpfull. Also, I would prefer buying a 2 in 1 collector instead of making it, if they are available. Can anyone recommend a source for stainless collectors? | | | | | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 | Clifford lists recommended tubing sizes on their website.
