gearhead56: You may have a very good unit. The WG Div. cast in the case side may mean Borg Warner, or Warner Gear Division. They made (two) 4 speeds, the T-10, and super T-10 for GM. The old model T-10 was originally made in 57 thru 74 or so, I think. Borg Warner used to be located in Muncie, Indiana, but is now located in Mexico,(Tremec). Tremec makes spendy 5 & 6 speeds for Vettes, Camaro's & such. You really need to consult a reliable transmission shop (rebuilder) for advise and info. They have application catalogs that will tell exactly what is what, and what trans went in what car, etc. The T-10 is a comparable box to the M-20/M-21 Muncie units and they look much alike. I believe Warner gear manufactured the Muncie units under contract for GM, as well as made there own models. I don't know for sure, so talk to a good shop. Good Luck!!!
