I've backed off the self-tighteners, applied some heat but they show no sign of loosening, used PB Blaster. Is there anything else that needs to be released before they will come off. I'm hesistant on hamering too much on them? Thanks

Will the drum turn any at all, or are the shoes still rusted on or too tight for it to turn?

and by the way guys, when you do take it off with the hub, how do you get the hub separated from the drum, lets say you want to get the drums turned, how do you separate ?

To remove the drum for replacement some have 3 rivets holding them on. They can be cut, drilled, or ground down. In fact they need to be removed if you run special wheels. They can keep the wheels from seating. Some models use 3 slotted screws holding them on. Some dont have anything holding them on & are just stuck to the drum.
