I got my '62 235 since '95 and drove it daily.
The block was never rebuilt and I never knew it's history.
Oil pressure is OK with 20W-50 in the summer and 10W-40 in the winter.
When the engine idles and is fully warmed up I got zero oil pressure.
Have tried all the additives I could find over the years and none of them made any real difference until I discovered Lucas, last year.
It gives me an additional 5-10 lbs. of oil pressure.
I have never noticed any foaming oil or brighter discoloration from trapped air bubbles.

I don't dispute that simple bench-test with the tiny gears and electro-motor, but can't find the same results adding Lucas to my engine or gear oil.
Most truckers I talked to also recommend Lucas and only warn from blending too much into the base oil.
Just hauled a full load over 100 miles going over many hills on the freeway going 60-70 mph for two hours.
Didn't lose any oil and gas milage was practicaly the same as unloaded.
It seems not much can harm these old sixes, except poor tuning and lack of regular maintanance combined with extreme abuse over decades. Even then, more often than not you can rebuilt it and get it going again.

I keep using the additive, as it gives my old bearings a bit more of the original pressure.

Biggest difference I found compared to more modern engines is that mine actually talks to me.

Reminds me of when I was a teenage pump jockey at the corner gas station we used to call all that stuff "Mechanic in a Can". This was back in 65 so imagine some of this goop has been improved upon but still the same idea.
