| | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 576 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 576 | the belt line on my cab appears to taper.unfortunatly as i'm typing this i realized ,no.i havent measured it.duhh.but its obvious that it does.drivers side lines up with door nice.but no way the passenger side is gonna line up.has anybody ran into this.i mean its not the end of the world.i'm not going to wig out or nothin.but its probly off by 1/8"- 3/16" or so.we really worked to get it this close.just curious...............dave

The front is low by about a 1/4” and there is no way that it can go up any more and still look right, it would close the gap at the top if it went up that much. The driver side is lined up perfectly.

| | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 576 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 576 | hinge pins good,they were rebuilt.no doors arent original.have one more that i'm gonna try to see if thats any better. and i got just the oppisite denny its the back on mine. the front looks good.i've thought about maybe fudging it with somefiller but i'll have to think on that one.like i said not something that i'm really upset over.i understand not all these things fit perfect.i'll try the other door find a happy medium and call it good............dave

These old pickups were were built for men to work with. I am old enough to remember when it wasn't even considered lady like for a woman to ride in a pickup.
