For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Have a line on one, thinking about moving the cab to a pickup. But if it is a rare combination, maybe not.... | | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 . | | . Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 | I have one. I did not consider it any more or less rare than a 5 window cab on a 1/2 ton. As far as worth, 1/2 tons are a lot easier to sell than 2 tons because only a few people want a big truck. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 684 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 684 | | | | | | Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 11 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 11 | I was just talking with a neighbor about this and he said the cabs from the half tons are smaller than the 1.5 and 2 tons. I'm not familiar with the 1947-'54 series, (my range is '41 - '46), but I'm curious now as to whether or not there were different sized cabs.

The cabs are the same from 1/2 ton up to about 3 ton for AD trucks (47-54) Grigg | | | | | Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 11 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 11 | Good to know. (That's how the '41 - '46 cabs are, too.) | | |
