Where, who makes the side motor mount adapters for the 235 to bolt, not weld,to the frame of a 38? I am not qualified to trust anything with a weld. I found numerous articles on 40 on up, nothing on 37/8, even tried to chase down Chassis Engineering site as was mentioned for a 1940. I know not too many 38's so not a lot of coverage, maybe my Luck will Change?

I have a "Special" installation. The 235 is in and has been for 25 years, because I have removed the truck Transmission and Bellhousing the sedan Bellhousing mounts don't sit over the rear X member which is riveted in. By using the side mounts (WITH ADAPTORS TO THE 38 FRAME)I can slide the Transmission, X member, which is bolted, up to support the Transmission. Or fabricate a Transmission mount. The side mounts would support the 235, and absorb the engine torque.
Some one makes these frame mount adaptors for a 38, DON'T THEY??? An Alternative would be a spacer between the Transmission and Bellhousing that has the correct angle to use the Truck motor mounts. I seen one during my search dated 2001.
Thats why the request for suggestions, or leads.
How about it, don't let your knowledge and suggestions go to waste.
