I dont know what bell housing the 250ci 6 used.. I would ASSUME its the V8 bell pattern.. sorry on that bit. | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | That is correct, the later 7 bearing 6 cylinder uses the same bellhousing pattern as the Chevrolet V8s.

If the mounting holes are in line on each side, you have a 60 degree V6 (2.8, 3.1, 3.4) flywheel housing.
The T5 wasnt behind many 4.3's in the S-10. It was behind the 4.3's in the Astro Van.

I owned one not too long ago and i honestly could not image a manual astro van. I am not a tall person at all and could hardly bare the lack of legroom with the wheel well on one side and the doghouse on the other. | | | | Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 1,859 Grumpy old guy playing with trucks, cars, and boats | Grumpy old guy playing with trucks, cars, and boats Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 1,859 | I owned two of them. about 2% of astro sales were manual in 1985-1988. Not available after 1989 that I can tell.
