I think this would be ideal for me. Anyway, wanted to know if anyone has done this and how it turned out? Also, who are manufacturing remote power booster? I found a few but the were out of my price range. Could I find this type of set-up in the junk yard? thanks for your help.

It used the original master and had the booster downstream mounted outside the frame rails. The power boost worked quite well but it still had a single master cylinder so I replaced it with a dual master/ booster combo from CPP

It uses a diaphragm like later trucks rather than a piston like the hydrovacs. There is a dual type remote booster carried by some of the street rod dealers. I've been very interested in this one myself.  | | |
