i could use some help in locating a s10 frame swap kit for a '33 half-ton truck. any info or opinion is appreciated.

I've never heard of a kit for anything earlier than Advance Design trucks and doubt you'll find one.

I am putting an S-10 frame under my 46 1/2 ton. It's a lot of work, engineering, and extra parts. Everything that connects to the frame has to be re-engineered, manufactured and fit. You have to figure out the bed height, cab height, distance from cab to radiator support, wheel base, ride height, exhuast system, fuel system, steering linkage, engine mounts, axle widths, wheel and tire clearances and etc.

I think you can see where I am going with this. You really need to have a full service shop.

ok just wondering if the s-10 frames not right for a old 30's trucks what aboutone off of a chevy love truck ? aren't they closer to the frame size on the 30,s trucks ?

I see in one of the pics he's using an S-10 column.
Wonder what the wheelbase and track width of those trucks are like.
I might have to venture into the Yota section at the yard next time I'm out with my tape.

my truck is a 1938 and according to the factory manual (something about "manual project" is where i found it) my truck has a 112" wheelbase (1/2 ton) and i am using the same column -- mine is out of an astrovan i decided to scrap (what a shame... it was so clean-- but it had to go) .. and it fits great especially with the nova subframe im using.
