With gas prices getting "out of sight" was thinking of putting in a 4.3 v6 with TBI. I have an older S10 that has 219k on it and still gets 20+ mpg.Has anyone done this conversion? Fairly "new" at these types of projects and "open" to a challange. This truck will be a daily driver NOT a show rig or street machine.

The 4.3 is a 350 with 2 cyls. cut off. The external parts are the same. The biggest problem will be steering gear clearance.
