I installed a TCI Mustang II front end two years ago finally getting road worthy but I find the shocks that they provided not sized correctly. The rebound only gives me about an inch of travel. with the chassis on stands there is no way I can get the lower shock bolt in with out jacking up the wheel. Anyone else had the problem? Size solution? I will jack up today and pull a shock set at road height and measure rough measure was 11" at road height, but I need to get more accurate from center of lower bolt to bottom of shock tower -5/8". I need 5-6" of travel, which will put the compressed height aroumd 8". Zeke
I pulled shock, the compressed height should be 8 1/2" and the extended 13 1/2" with the ride height at about 11 1/4",this is 11 3/4" shock tower to bottom bolt center with 5/8" deducted for top grommet, shock supplied by TCI only has 12" extended. Zeke
