I have a1966 chevy c-10 just would like to know which is the best way to lower a truck. Would like to go down about 3 or 4 inches. Make the truck look good. Don't want it in the weeds. Going with disc all round (maybe). Which tires what hardware???

Check out Classic Performance Products. I used their drop springs and spindles on our 64 chevy and it was an easy way to drop plus add the disk drakes. We did only go with the front disk and kept the rear drums, but it was a simple, self contained kit that also upgraded the front end. We only dropped 2 1/2" in the front and 3" in the back, but there are endless combinations to fit whatever your looking for. There may be a cheaper way to go as far as swaps are concerned, but I stayed simple.
