For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 13 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 13 | I need to check the shoes and drums on my 65 C20. I pulled a rear wheel off last weekend, but I'm not too familiar with the Eaton 3/4 ton axle yet and didn't quite see an easy way to get the drum off. I was running out of sunlight so I put everything back together. Do I need to pull the axle and hub to get the drum off? Or did I miss something obvious?
To old to change, to young to quit.

Providing that the screws and drums are not too rusted up the drums should slide off. You may also have to back off on the brake adjuster. Fred
