Guys,
Question 1
I am about to rehang my doors on the 49 Burb after new glass, felt channels, etc. The doors had no door weatherstripping when I bought it and doesn't appear to have been removed by the PO. Is this normal for Burbs or should I install a weatherstrip?

Question 2
I have to replace the upper springs in the door hinge. Can someone give me any helpful hints on the do's and don'ts of the process.

This may belong over in the Door Section but wanted to ask here first. Thanks

Question 1:
All side doors on 47-55 trucks had a seal (weatherstripping).

Jim Carter sells rear door seals (clamshell doors, if you have the original doors for your year) but they were a terrible fit when I bought them several years ago. Steele Rubber had the correct rear door seals.

Question 2: These might be a little helpful.
