My '59 3/4-ton 4-speed has a 235 and I just ran across a cheap '55 265 V8. Will this engine drop right in?

It will if you have the pieces that were rivited to the front crossmember of the bent 8 trucks which positioned the front motor mounts further back than the sixes. The radiator also moves back although you could probably find or fabricate a fan shroud so you didn't have to move the radiator.
