For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 493 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 493 | I found some 15" 5 lug 4.75 pattern wheels to go on my 52's new disk conversion and rear end. Free is nice. The problem is the 52 hubcaps are 7 5/8" opening and my s-10 10 1/8" opening caps fit the new wheels. I can cut the center out of the s-10 hubcaps and mount the 52's with rivets to them. It seems like someone must have run up against this one before. I made a few calls to the big wheel and hubcap guys today with no luck on an adapter. The other idea is cut the center of a full 15" hubcap, like a 53 pontiac chieftan and mount the 52's to it. I really would like to just have an adapter that would work. Any Ideas would be great.

It looks better in real life on the truck. I got the Dodge hubcaps online for very little. The pictures are of the first attempt. I have bought some more in better shape for the rest. http://community.webshots.com/album/563027192ItmeAM?start=12 | | | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 493 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 493 | | | | | | Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 2,031 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 2,031 |
