alfaulk New Guy A Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 9 british columbia	have a 235 in a 48 loadmaster that has gm cast on the block. Were chev blocks cast as chev or gm. thanks for any info.

3B 'Bolter 3 Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 B. C. Canada	Hy alfaulk, GM is the parent of all the divisions. Chev. and Gmc are just two separate parts, in theory "GM" could be cast into all the different divisions engine blocks, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, G.M.C. Oldsmobile, and Pontiac, hope that helps.
