I am headed out to look at what is supposed to be a 1950 2 ton that is headed to the scrapper. The owner has sent a photo of the Serial Plate that show 16,000 GVW and serial looks to be 5UWK-7046. I have looked at vin decipher in tech tips but come up blank. Can anyone make any sense of these? Also would stock engine in a 50 be a 235?

That code does not seem to match this 1950 information.

But, it does match this 1951 information.

The 235 Loadmaster engine was standard eqipment on a 2-ton truck in 1951.
