The needle valve sticks and causes flooding. If I pound on the fuel inlet area, it frees up the needle and everything works fine. I've had the top off the carb a number of times, removed the needle and seat, cleaned everything out, even reamed it a bit to give a little more clearance, but the problem persists. Any ideas? | | |

Solution - have more fun - start the vehicle daily.

Seems that when they get old, the insides deteriorate and punish you with little black chunks that find their way to the needle and seat. I went to the gross-jet needle and seats described in the tech article on multi rochesters on inliners site. They have been very reliable so far. | | |
