Grab the back of the socket & wiggle it as you pull it out. Once the socket w/bulb is out push the bulb into the socket while turning counter clockwise on the bulb. It'll turn a few degrees then pull straight out. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will point it out.

Got them out(how many are there?) but I can't replace one of the sockets into the hole, not that it matters right now since I don't have the bulbs. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 6,378 Ex Hall Monitor | | Ex Hall Monitor Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 6,378 | If the "ears" that hold the socket in get bent out a bit too far it can make it difficult to get the socket back in. You'll get the hang of it.

Too bad I couldn't just stick one box(that reduces the power to a constant 6v) in the power line from the starter instead of having to change out all of them good bulbs!(No big deal but I wish I could put them to use, they all work courtesy of testing with a 6v flashlight battery, but they won't work in the flashlight itself) | | | | | Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 297 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 297 | Why couldn't you put a reducer in the line from the main light switch that feeds the dash lights if you really wanted to keep those 6v bulbs?

Won't hurt anything to get it to check everything out and if everything is fine like someone else said "why mess with success?" | | |
