Who do you recommend for the purchase of new replacement rear steel fenders for my 59 Apache. I am guessing there are a couple different quality levels out there and I want to get good high quality steel and hopefully USA made. Anybody have experience with the new steel reproduction stuff? Thanks

the new steel fenders are only made from one manufacturer. All the suppliers get it from the same manufacturer. It is not American steel, or American made. The fenders were used on trucks from 55-59. You can probably find a decent to excellant pair of used fenders for short money.

Either way you will have to fit the fenders to your truck, which can involve drilling new holes or elongating the originals to get propper fitment. I'd try to find a set of good used fenders on the local Craigslist.
