I was wondering if anyone knows of any late model vehicle rearleaf that work well on 47-53 chevy half-ton pickups. I'm looking for something with a low ride height. I know that many companies produce aftermarket kits; but I was wanting to see if anybody has ever seen any other springs retrofitted to these trucks.

Not really any- the '47-53 use much narrower springs than modern vehicles. There are plenty of aftermarket springs available though.

Nope, I looked for new springs for my 1 ton, no luck.
http://www.eatonsprings.com/ made me a set exactly how I wanted, I am very happy with the springs and service, and even the price/value.

Some guys have used Dodge Caravan springs...I believe they would give you a lower ride height, but also a lower capacity as well.
