You'll have to use an old screwdriver or like tool to straighten the locks on the bolts. Then you should be able to remove the bolts, you may have to wedge the flywheel to keep it from turning. Also if you haven't you'll need to remove the starter first.  | | |

I use a Flywheel holder left over from VW days undo all the bolts leave two loose and POP the flywheel loose.....It weighs something and you don't want to catch it in your teeth!!
If it's really stuck get a couple longer bolts and put them in so you got some room for it to fly without falling......but I've never seen one stuck that bad | | |

I have taken flywheels off with a sledge and a 'BIG DUCKBILL' but that was on Mini's not GMC
Is your flywwheel really stuck? Or are you jus gettin ready? | | |
