I need pictures of a TCI rear leaf kit installed. my bed bolts were long gone and they say to measure 28 1/8 from the rearmost bed bolt to locate the shock tube. wich hole is it there are two at the rear of the frame about an inch apart. you can send pics if you have them to my e mail. Hopefully someone who has done a pickup will chime in as I would like to see what others have done. I used the rear hole on my '50 suburban (not sure if that was the same as the bed bolt hole or not) everything seemed to line up though. The big holes through the frame rails were a little tricky. I drilled the top as instructed and ran the bolt down to the bottom to mark the bottom. The shock cross member tube will sit at a slightly upward angle towards the front to match the angle of the tab that is welded to the plate that mounts under the springs. This way the mounting holes at both ends of the shocks are on the same plane (hard to explain, just mock it up and clamp everything place to see). When I drilled through the frame and got these lined up the spacers between the frame rails were at an angle and a little short so I cut angled spacers (like thick angled washers)to fill in so when I bolt them down they will be solid. I called because I had to fully extend the shocks and put a little weight on my frame to get the shocks in place. I think this will be fine when I get the body back on. Anyway they say you might have to turn the bottom plate over if your shock is too short, that won't work as then the angle of the welede on tab goes the wrong way.
