I have a 88 305 with throttle body fuel injection. would this swap in place of my 89 S-10 2.8 engine in the chassis I am putting my 40 on? What would I have to do? would it bolt up to the 5 speed 4x4? and would the S-10 brain work on the 305 accessories? Appreciate all help and ideas. | | |
#40432 02/14/2004 7:57 PM | Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 438 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 438 | Diego- My brother-in-law put a 350 in his S-10 Blazer with the help of Jags That Run (V8 conversions for S-10\'s) . These pages have good photos and lots of technical help including changes necessary if you live in a smog-regulated state like CA. Take a long look there for mounting info and some great space-saving components (e.g. oil pans). You can disregard all of the info on changing the S-10. Keep us posted.  | | |
