| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 641 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 641 | well i was just setting in my shop tonight next to a big hot barrel stove looking at my 3/4 ton 52 got it from a guy that drove it for over 30 years put a nice new 235 in it in the 70s in auto shop i got it and it sat in my yard for a couple years tell i got up enuff nurve to tear into it now its bare metal and we have the box all back together except the wood we will be painting it soon but setting there looking at the smooth back fender what a stout truck and low geared glad i live in the country im not changing anything im even ripping out the aftermarket blinkers my dad had a truck like this when i was 3 im 53 now this truck will last at least another 100 years no electronics and curcit boards here i laughf everytime one of my friends cars brake down its always something that thes trucks dont have a map senser or somthing well its just magic!!sorry for rammbling !! | | | | | Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 640 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 640 | And may your '52 outlast us all! | | | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,254 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,254 | This is the longest sentence that I have ever read.
