I'm figuring all I need to do is mark the dizzy before removal, then try to put it back in the way it was before. I'm thinking if it gets me close enough so that it runs I should be alright. Anything else I should be thinking of? For some reason I remember reading about someone else having trouble getting the distributor back in during re-installation... Marking the location of the distributor housing in the block is great, but remember to mark the location of the rotor IN the housing. It will turn CCW as you extract it and will have to be reinserted so it twists back CW as you stick it in.
Don't sweat any of this...it's very simple to find yourself if you loose your location.
