Only kidding I do know hwta the vacuum tanks do on early chevy trucks! I don't know how to get mine working though!
I bought a nice original (only 8000 miles on her!) 1923 long wheel base, Chevrolet truck from California.
The previous owner has been telling me he had just added an electric fuel pump to it and was going to run it through the original vacuum tank to keep it looking original.
He didnt have time to get it working before the truck was picked up to be shipped across country to me in Vermont.
My question is, what do I do next? Should I dump the vacuum tank? can I dump it? is it required?
any experienced early stovebolters out there?
