#39641 05/26/2005 5:32 PM | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 22 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: May 2005 Posts: 22 | I saw a('61-'63)surburban in a nearby salvage yard that had it's front end intact and it was an Independant Front Suspension (IFS). It was all bolts and nuts holding it together. Will it work on my '56 chevy shortbed if I remove it and just drill holes and mount it to my frame? I am not able to afford a new IFS and then pay someone to weld it in, adding to the price; and I don't want to cut the frame to weld a front clip (again expensive). Please help. | | |
