i just purchased a new radiator from jim carter classic truck parts (MER810)and i wanted to give you guys a heads up on some of the differences between the new one and original one......

1. the spout that the radiator cap goes on is made with the slots offset and the radiator cap hits the radiator backet when you put it on the original one had the slots running the width of the radiator

2. the radiator inlet on top of radiator points straight down were as the original one points to water pump and is at more of an angle

3. the brass petcock drainplug is 1/4 inch and the original one is 1/8 inch

4. the bottom suction spout is not offset like the original one so the radiator hose kit they offer (ME465) will not work unless you modify it by cutting off a little

after making the corrections the radiator works good.....paid 379 for radiator and 23 for hose kit....to recore the old one was 425....butch
