They could be adjusted to fit a wide range of vehicles. With a little help they can fit about anything of that era. This site can help you understand how they go together.

It does seem to be very adaptable, when I cleaned mine up I replaced the screws that go into the adjusting arms the "wings" of the visor slide into, the old screws where aluminum and twisted off after being in the same position for 61 years on the fleet master. The brass screws that attach the center of the visor to your window clean up fairly easy and help keep the original look to the visor. A side note, I've found the original fulton visor had a tendency to "buckle" about half way along the front edge of the visors "wings" if you tried to adjust them after you have attached the center pieces. Also, be sure to mold ( as best you can ) the curve of the support arms where they screw into your door frames, otherwise it will rub when you open and close your doors. I used a body molding die and body hammer to curve mine. Be sure to do this prior to any painting you do. Hope this helps.

The '53 has a two piece windshield. The visor uses the center divider as a attachment point. The '54 uses a single piece windshield. The visor must use a bracket that attaches to the top of the cab.
I'm pretty sure the reproduction visor will have no 'bracketry' to allow it to attach to the cab for the '54 and '55/1st applications.
I think this is how it works.

I have seen very poorly installed Fulton visors on 54/55 cabs (as Stuart describes - with side brackets attached to the roof, not inside the "drip rail"). One visor was from a 53/54 Chevy car and might have used the car's attachment brackets.
