I bought a set of front fenders off eBay to rebuild for my daily driver 56. They were advertised as being for a 55, but when I got them, they turned out to be for a 57. They have the square indention on the grill surround area. They appear to be easily repairable otherwise with just a few patches here and there in the typical places. My question is, how should I handle this grill surround area?

your only choices are to fill and shape them or leave'em
