So, I need someone to refresh my brain.
On the 235 HP engine, my oil pressure starts out at about 14psi cold, then, when I drive it for 20 to 30 minutes, it falls to about 3 - 4 psi.
Is this normal??????
Then, next day, we start this process all over.

3-4 seems a bit low for the dipper engine, I think at least 8 is good for that engine.
The pressure 235 needs at least 20.

When it is first started, the pressure will be higher for maybe a minute or so. That is until the oil warms up. | | |
