Greetings Bolters... so I'm wanting to finally install a radio - I'm tired of singing to myself because I'm not that good. I've been thinking of going thru Antique Radio out of Florida because I like the classic look of what they have with the updated technology.(180 watts RMS (45 watts x 4 speakers 4 ohm, 14.4v, 1kHz)
But I was wondering if you guys could help me understand a couple of questions I have:
- Will I be able to plug in one of those little rectangular music storage devices (I'm wicked non-technical!)
- Can I use a hidden antenna?
- Any suggestions about a speaker set?
I've been looking at the kickpanels that have Pioneer speakers (I'm not sure if they are 70w or 100w)
And underseat speakers (pair) with 51/2" woofer and 2 piezo tweeters 120w
I'm not the type that has a music library of 10,000 songs - in fact, I tend to listen to an oldies station most of the time. And I'm also not a big purist so I probably couldn't discern the fine points of the quality of the sound. I don't even know much about watts, 4ohm speakers, output, etc! I'm looking to simply install a set up that gives me good all-over stereo sound.
Any advice??
