Some people call them cam retainers, cam washers, but chevy truck manuaul refers to them as camshaft thrust plate. Eye shaped piece of steel that goes behinde the cam gear and in front of the first cam journal. thank in advance. | | |

I think I remember talking with him about one but not sure. I was having my engine machined and the shop broke the existing one on mine. They located one pretty easy for about $8.00. You might want to check with Napa or Carquest. You would be surprised what they can find. I am going to my machine shop in the next day or so, if someone else hasn't helped you by then, I'll get back with you. Good luck
