Because of carefully listening to you guys about clutch replacements and payin' attention to hints and my manuals and some of the cautions posted on clutch topics, I have successfully replaced my clutch in my 54 Chevy sedan and guess what - IT WORKS! YAHHHH! First time around too!

This was my first ever clutch job! Thanks for the guidance and brains! It took me two days and teasing from my better half to finally go out and start up the car and test it (I was that chicken).

Now that I have big man cahones, I'm kind'a wantin' to go after the clutch in my truck now - ah, but it's working fine. darn!

Dear Big Man Cahones,
It sounds like you are a bit of a novice. But ahh grasshopper, do not travail. Build more cars and trucks, and in a few short years you will be able to change out a clutch along side the road in the dark with a weak flashlight. Afterward wash up in a muddy ditch, pour a cup a jo from the thermos under the seat, and it's ON THE ROAD AGAIN!!
Good Job!
Bob
