I just removed my torque tube rear end and would like to take the torque tube out of the rear axel so I can transport it. Does anyone have any ideas? I have already taken out all the housing bolts but for some reason it won't come off it starts to come off as the gears unmesh when I rotate the impeller shaft but when I continue to rotate it it is sucked back together?

If you need a tool and don't buy it, you will find you have paid for it and don't have it.

Zacacc: You need to pull the axels, then the ring gear assembly. Don't forget to remove the three set screws, they hold in the torque tube. Then you can use a block of wood and hammer on the front end of the drive shaft it should pop right out. Check out the shop manual there is a pretty good discription on how to do this. If you don't have one I would suggest that you make the investment, it's a big help.
