This is the first opportunity that I have had to send this out. After 10 long years of being garaged and 1 1/2 years of working on it-------the '56 Chevy truck is finally able to move under its own power again. I was able to go around the block on Feb 29th (good thing this year had the extra day---HA HA).

She was running a little rough or maybe that was just me. Still have lots of work ahead, but maybe can enjoy it a little in the process now. I didn't want to wonder to far from the house in case something went wrong or even worse----I still have to get insurance and plates.

Thanks to everyone for their time and help.

Congrats Kent! That first trip around the block is sure a moral booster, isn't it! I know mine was! Now I'm chipping away on more little things but seems a lot more fun when I can just jump in it and go to NAPA for a part or two! Ed

She's one 55 year old with a spare tire that looks good!
It's not rocket surgery. . . .
