#38598 07/21/2003 3:26 AM | Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 9 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 9 | i just got 2 rims 6 lug that are 16" dia. at the bead and 4 1/2" wide at the bead. bought em on e-bay. looking at the 6 lugs thought they had to be for a truck. 4 1/2 " is pretty narrow and i don't know if this is the wheel or not for the truck.also getting tall large diameter tires might be a problem too.

They were from Pomps and were Power King brand. About 65 bucks. That 16 inch measurement may be for a 15 inch rim despite the 16. Have your tire people check it out. I had my rims powder coated and am very pleased. - Scott

6 lug 16" were factory available option in 67-72 years i know, im pretty sure 16.5" too for the 1/2 tons(5 and 6 lug)
wheels were narrower than you think back then, didnt see 15x7 wheels on the trucks yet, 15x8 was 73-up thing on the ralley type wheels and 15x6.5" on the vans

I've had Kelsey Hayes master cylinder on one of my Harley's. what i'm not sure of is if that is the stock size for a "49 1/2 ton. | | |
