Or are they supposed to be mounted on the grill at all? | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 331 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: May 2005 Posts: 331 | JDL, my 54's horn is mounted on the grill, as have been other 54's that I've seen. The earlier AD's were mounted on the manifold. As far as value, I know that I've seen them on Ebay for not to much money. Koolkar told me that the ones on the manifold were more valuable. | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 4,983 Master Gabster | Master Gabster Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 4,983 | What happened to the opossums in the seat?

Here are the mounting instructions. Tim | | | | Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 1,403 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 1,403 | The possums are gone. Now, tclederman, that link doesn't work. But, I get your point. I also now know that what you said is true, because I didn't really mean "under", but I saw that they were in between the bars. | | | | Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 75 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 75 | Jordan, what transmission does your truck have? Is it a 3-Speed with a column-mounted shifter? If so, you should find a couple of levers down at the end of the steering column that you should be able to access and manipulate just by raising the hood. If that unit is worn to where there is a little slop or play in the [censored] and you happen to let the clutch out without having the gearshift all the way into a gear it will hang up and you cannot move the gear shift. | | | | Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 1,403 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 1,403 | 3 speed on the column. I can't seem to get the levers to move, although I know that it does shift. | | | | Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 58 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 58 | tc, that link does work just checked it. dave
