For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 829 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 829 | I will be replacing various wires on my '54 tow truck, and the schematic on the old chevy online manual site is of too poor quality to see the AWG numbers. I would appreciate a higher quality image, if anyone might have it.
Thanks in advance,

I have linked one that shows wire gauges pretty well. Your choices are 18, 16, 14 and 10 gauge...although not crystal clear, they are discernible (to me) and you can kick the magnification up to 200% if you need. If it's the same one you found, dump it and someone else might be along with a better one. http://chevy.tocmp.com/electrical/wiring/pdf/54truck.pdfStuart | | | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 829 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 829 | Stuart and Tim =
Thanks, guys! I CAN make out the numbers now. I printed each one, and between the 2, and referencing orig. file on 'puter, I now have a mobile copy to leave with the ol' girl. I am open to a higher quality image of exterior and interior wiring, though.
Thanks again,
