Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2007 Posts: 51 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: May 2007 Posts: 51 | I just got my camaro clip on my 54 gmc. It is a rear steer 68 camaro sub. My question is what are the columns that are out there that will work with this rag joint set up or do you have to go aftermarket ? It does have power steering. I would like to use my original column if at all possible. The original hole is way to high. I moved mine down about 3in ( can't remember exactly)so I had a straighter shot at the gear box. | | | | | Joined: May 2007 Posts: 51 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: May 2007 Posts: 51 | I was working on the column last night . I did cut a hole to line it up better but it is offset so much it looks bad. I am not sure how the chevy dash is formed around the steering column but the 54 gmc dash has a large cutout for the column. I guess I will do the best I can and live with it. Thanks again Tom | | |
