A friend of mine has a mid-80's Mustang II that he will donate to my cause. I would like to buy a pre-fab crossmember and weld onto the frame. I have two questions: (1) can I use the remaining parts from the Mustang II and attach to the new crossmember and supports? I would like to avoid having to purchase a whole new front end. (2) Can the rear differential from the Mustang be swapped into the Chevy? Any advice is always appreciated! | | |

I'll stop looking around for you. I hope you didn't have to drive too far. I have NOT done this conversion. There are number of manufacturers that offer cross members for the MII graft. Check out Zig\'s or others. Check the width of the rear to see if it will work. Other recent threads have addressed both issues. | | |
