on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 6 Member | | Member Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 6 | In my dogged pursuit of just the right stovebolt, latest quarry is 69 GMC right here in town this time(not half-way across the country)which allegedly has the original 350.
I know the 350 is a common, well-known motor and I would stay with it as long as it stayed with me. But at 152,000 miles ... I am inclined to have other options lined up. Always thought I would have an inline 6 in my truck, so I plan to be looking out for a 292. But on another track, my specific question today is, how much heavier than the 350 would be a GM 6.2 liter diesel? Just wondering. Thanks. (P.S. we need a graemlin icon for grimly, stubbornly, plodding on).
