Apart from ordering an new gearhead, got any solutions for loosening the gunk in the long drive tube. I've sprayed it with GOO GONE and others, but still doesn't loosen up. Is soaking it going to damage the insulated liner? | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 206 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 206 | I have 3 of them light's, all were stuck hard to turn when I got em.They do come apart, cant rember how at the moment but start with the handle in the cab, it comes off easily,has to as that's how it's installed in the veichle.I took em apart and cleaned em up,used dielectric gerase when reassemling.they work great now!
