What is the difference between JB7 and JB8 brake systems in 79 chevy trucks? Can I transplant 73-79 disc brakes onto a 69?

The JB8 is the large brakes on 1-tons with
dually,s. The rear drums are 13x3 1/2 & uses
hydra-boost power brakes. THe JB7 has 13x21/2
rear drums & vacuum booster. All these are too
large for a 1/2 ton truck. smile
