in a stock 52' chevy 1/2 ton with 3spd what was the common rearend ratio? 4:11,4:88..

4.11:1 was the standard/only rear-end ratio for 1/2 ton trucks from 1947-1953 (3-speed and 4-speed manual).

3.90:1 was the standard/only rear-end ratio for 1/2 ton trucks for 1954/1955-1st (3-speed manual, and 4-speed manual, and 4-speed Hydra-Matic).
