got a question. I have a 1/2 ton 50 5 window, and i'm gonna buy a three speed tranny but it's from a passenger car. am I gonna have any problems? gear ratio or any thing else???

Any saginaw with a GM bolt pattern will fit your bellhousing but you may want to get a Patricks catalogue (check the links on this website to get to Patricks website and order the catalogue)to check the gear ratios which vary widely on these trannys. Conventional wisdom is that the trannys with two lines or marks around the input shaft are best. wink
